HAPPY DAY FOR LEONA

ABOVE: The X Factor's most successful winner returns home
7th November 2009

UBER-glam Leona Lewis, who sparkled at MTV’s EMAs, is getting revved up for her X Factor performance of Happy on Sunday.

The 24-year-old told me: “I’m looking forward to going back to The X Factor.

“I always get a bit nervous, though, singing for Simon Cowell again.

“He didn’t pick the songs on my new album but he came to my show in Hackney on Monday, which I was pleased about. I don’t think he’s heard the finished album yet.”

Leona doesn’t need to worry, what with the entire world loving her efforts.

And the chuffed lass was delighted that Katy Perry bigged her up in Berlin.

Leona added: “It’s nice she singled me out – Katy’s lovely.”

Happy is out on Monday.
