TWO British ticket holders are waking up today £45m richer after sharing last night's massive Euromillions jackpot.
The lucky pair have smashed the record for the UK's biggest-ever lottery win after scooping the £90m prize with the numbers 11, 19, 34, 43, 45 and the Lucky Stars 5 and 9.
The two Brits were the only winners of the European super lottery.
And the news sparked a nationwide hunt for the lucky ticket holders.
If the tickets are held by individuals rather than syndicates they will each instantly become the country's 1203rd richest people - level with the likes of Formula 1 ace David Coulthard, 38.
And their fortunes will dwarf those of England footballers Michael Owen, 29, on £40m and 24-year-old Wayne Rooney's £35m.
Their payout dwarves the previous biggest lottery payout in the UK, the £35.4 million that went to Angela Kelly from Glasgow in August 2007.
Last night a spokesman for lottery organisers Camelot said: "This is fantastic news - we're absolutely delighted to have two such massive UK wins.
"We have plenty of champagne on ice and are looking forward to welcoming the lucky ticket-holder to the National Lottery millionaires' club."
The winners are likely to earn more than £5,000-a-DAY in interest payments alone - adding up to an extra £2 million each year.
But their wins don't match the record Euromillions payout, which went to Irishwoman Dolores McNamara in 2005, who won £77m.
Glasgow mum Angela was Britain's biggest previous lottery winner after scooping £35.4 million smackers on the Euromillions with a lucky dip ticket.
The winning ticket lay at the bottom of her handbag for three days before she discovered she had become a multi-millionairess while she was sitting at her desk at work.
She called home to son John, then 14, to tell him: "I'll speak to you tonight. I've had a wee win on the lottery."
Angela, now 42, soon packed in her job as a postal administrator at a Glasgow sorting office and gave generous gifts to family and friends before splashing out a whopping £850,000 to buy her dream home.
