CALLS for every school to have a special teacher for gipsies were slammed last night.

A Government-funded report says all secondary schools should have a member of staff who can relate to “traveller issues” like poor attendance.

But Matthew Elliott, of the Taxpayers’ Alliance blasted: “This will amount to a lot of money being spent on a very fringe group.”
