NOW she’s the grand old age of sixteen, Miley’s beginning to embrace a new musical direction.

WHILE Bodies was a perfectly good/morbid pop song, sonically it wasn’t groundbreaking -and it was certainly no crowd-pleasing Angels.

SINGLE OF THE WEEK - WATER AND A FLAME: DANIEL MERRIWEATHER FT. ADELE

ABOVE: Daniel and Adele's honeyed tones compliment each other perfectly
2nd November 2009

By Sarah-Louise James

AUSSIE Dan is slowly becoming something of a modern-day soul great.

And this, featuring his female vocal reflection Adele, is his best yet, their honeyed tones complimenting each others perfectly.

It’s one of those two-part tunes, one verse sung from the bloke’s point of view, the other from the woman’s and it’s got all the elements of a classic.

Moody, sultry and as sensuous as a glass of red wine by the fire in the arms of your lover. Oo-er.
