Labour in third place in polls.

Alright, it was *one* poll and it came in between annual party conferences, but still, isn't that a beautiful thought?

We can thank them for throwing away years of diplomacy and setting Middle East peace back forty years by backing PNAC on Iraq, for 7/7 which wouldn't have happened if we'd stayed out, for closing schools and hospitals, for dismantling public services, for concreting over the land that used to absorb rain so it all goes into the rivers and makes flooding worse, for building in flood zones to buy votes, for lies and deceit, for making image more important than substance and for all sorts of other things.

They promised to improve services without raising taxes and the Conservatives promised to cut taxes without cutting services. The LIberal Democrats said they'd improve services but they'd have to raise taxes on the better-off to 45% to pay for it. Noone wanted what the Lib Dems promised so they voted for the liars and here we are with huge deficits getting bigger by the day and 50% taxes on the better-off.

They talked about the environment and shat on it.

They shat on our forces, too, and everyone else earning less ... no, let me rephrase that: PAID less than £50,000 a year. Meanwhile, people getting paid more in a year than a soldier or NHS nurse makes in five years have their pensions guaranteed at taxpayers' expense while they avoid taxes by banking offshore, and yes, that includes MPs. Theirs are the safest pensions around.

Anyone have any idea how many billions of our pounds they've funnelled to their rich sponsors via Iraq, bail-outs and so on? I notice they didn't spend it on decent boots that won't melt or armour that actually stops bullets or putting enough people with the right skills out there to actually make the place better so people won't be so keen to kill British soldiers, and they gave the money straight to the banks rather than paying off parts of people's mortgages. Either way the banks get the money, but if they'd paid off the mortgages people wouldn't have become homeless.

Now, wouldn't it be *sweet* to see them out of power this time next year? Not just out of government, but OUT? It seems pretty likely the Conservatives are going to come first (so our money's going to a slightly different set of rich sponsors for a while but not much else'll change) but second place is still open, and personally I'd really like to see Labour NOT get it.

Kick the b_____ds while they're down. You know they deserve it!
