DEAD MAN RUNNING
ANOTHER week, another British gangster thriller. Tamer Hassan faces apparently insuperable odds to raise £100,000 in 24 hours to pay off vicious loan shark 50 Cent – or die.
With his sick mother Brenda Blethyn being held hostage, Hassan ropes side-kick Danny Dyer to help him.
Ducking, diving and conniving are the order of the day in a clichéd tale whose claim to fame is footballers Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole produced it.
